Cosmology & the Linear Collider

We are a working group of the American Linear Collider Physics Group (ALCPG)

Our Charge:

  1. To formally create a working group on linear collider connections to cosmology and astrophysics within the ALCPG working group structure.
  2. To determine all the potential connections, and to prioritize them to later focus effort.
  3. To produce a report on these connections by September 2004.

Editorial Committee:

Jonathan Feng (UC Irvine) Co-Chair
Mark Trodden (Syracuse) Co-Chair
Marco Battaglia (UC Berkeley)
Norman Graf (SLAC)
Michael Peskin (SLAC)

Please download a copy of our questionnaire, fill it out and mail it to us if you would like to join the larger team exploring connections between the linear collider and cosmology.

Topics:

We have identified four areas in which we think there may be connections between linear collider physics and cosmology. As you will see by visiting the links below, some of these constitute detailed and specific connections, whereas others are less well-formed. We are interested to hear of other possible connections, particularly if you are willing to help us explore the connections in detail.
