Time and Location

Unless otherwise noted, classes take place at 011 Heroy Geology Building, Mondays from 4:30pm till 5:50pm.

Goals

The main goal of the freshman forum is to facilitate the transition from high school to college. As a leit-motiv, this year we will consider issues related to race relations, civil rights, and memories of stories. We will also talk about social, cultural and intellectual activities around Syracuse University, academic integrity, alcohol and drug prevention and other aspects of college life.

Requirements

You are required to attend all scheduled meetings and activities, to actively participate in the forum and to complete the reading and writing assignments.

Grading

You will receive a grade on an A to F scale. The grade will depend on how well you meet the requirements described above.
